Hey, any advice would be nice. This is the state of my hair after 4 months of going completely bald. So I'm gonna be 31 in march, had major shedding happen to me last year between march to october, (stabilized it with Propecia I think, started august) got quoted 900 grafts (what) from a local clinic to fix the temple recession but i feel like I need like 2k to 3k grafts to be really happy. I want as full density as I can achieve with a hair transplant and medical therapy, what do you guys think? I feel like I'm destined to be. Norwood 5.

@Henry max to max 2000 would be sufficient for a good hairline as well as to add a bit of density to the front ..still the actual number can only be judged by a physician who will examine you in personal..go for someone who has an experience in handling diffused pattern baldness cause while putting grafts in between your existing hair without damaging the existing grafts is tough..

You appear to have good donor traits. The hairline looks slightly receded, but most of the issue seems to just be mild translucency of the front and crown. You could probably fix that without surgery, simply by using concealer. Your hair looks fairly dense but fine, in the areas of concern. Implanting hairs there could potentially cause damage to the native hair.

if you go to a good surgeon, you could probably fix it all for 1000 grafts, honestly.

The crown, by the way, looks normal for someone without hair loss. Even in people without thinning, the middle of the crown can show some scalp.
