Missing patch in front. Should I be concerned?

Recommended Posts

@vvs111,

To be honest, this is very common and not something to be concerned about. At 20 days postop, some of the transplanted hairs may have already started to shed and as a result,  your hair may appear a bit on the patchy side.  Keep in mind also that you’re going to go through many phases before you actually see your final result. For example, most if not all of the Transplant hairs will shed, you may experience shock lost some of your natural hairs, when the new transplanted hairs begin to grow, they will typically grow in thin, fine and colorless and will take time to thicken, darken and mature, etc.  moreover, the new transplanted hairs will grow in at different times and may appear uneven or possibly even patchy at first.   That said, you can expect to see the final result between 12 and 18 months.

I hope this helps

Hello there,

Those small missing patches are fairly usual 20 days following the transplant.

Some transplanted hairs will fall out in the first couple of weeks, but they will grow back eventually.

The time it takes to see a substantial growth and the complete results can vary, several months are enough to see major growth and up to a year to see the entire effects.

Would highly suggest to follow post-op instructions! Take care
