Regular Member WhereIsMyMind Posted December 29, 2022 Regular Member Share Posted December 29, 2022 If you burnt your hair, the hair that grows afterwards should grow not burnt or damaged (obviously). Damaging your outside hair has no impact in your follicle health, it is very deep under your skin attached to your blood supply and that is ultimately what dictates follicles health. Shaving doesn't really accomplish anything other than "syncronizing" all your hair on the same starting point.
Senior Member NARMAK Posted December 29, 2022 Senior Member Share Posted December 29, 2022 The actual hair follicle is buried below the skins dermis, and so you should be safe but it is very possible to damage hair with excessive heat etc. and that's why the hair may need to be cut down eventually to allow it to refresh as it grows out and gets longer again but there's usually no permanent damage imo. 1 Follow my first Hair Transplant Journey!
