Regular Member Billy101 Posted December 26, 2022 Regular Member Share Posted December 26, 2022 After 4yrs of watching all my hair and that of my 2 kids slowly disappear to the point of all of us only having 30% (at most) remaining and all specialist trying to say we were all just suffering withal pattern baldness at the same time, we were prescribed mometasone furoate (Zatamil) and low and behold within 4 weeks we all had 70-80% of our hair back!! I am concerned we haven't found the unlaying reason for the hair thinning in the first place, and worried its just going to do it again however does that prove that it was never male pattern baldness for us all in the first place? I never thought it was as the chance this happening all at the same time to myself and my kids especially being I have a twin brother with no sign of hairless either, just seemed something that would be impossible to happen but being this is obviously rare, the experts all without even really looking properly just assumed this was the case. So I guess my question is, if it was male pattern baldness all starting at the exact same time for all us (although my kids at the time were 11yrs/14yrs), then is it possible for us to all grow our hair back so fast after using mometasone furoate? It just doesn't make sense to me 🤔 And I also wonder then, how many people think they are suffering with hair thinning when in reality if they took Zatamil they could grow most of it back! You need a biopsy by a dermatologist or a doctor that specializes in hair loss? Are you from Australia?
Regular Member Billy101 Posted December 27, 2022 Author Regular Member Share Posted December 27, 2022 Yep sure am. Do you know of someone that specializes in hair loss that can do a biopsy and what does a biopsy look for?
