Senior Member mrkneed Posted January 14, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted January 14, 2009 I had a procedure done almost 6 weeks ago and I noticed in the frontal hairline it looks like I had shockloss with some of the hairs that were transplanted about a 1 1/2 years ago - is this normal/common?? Bill - Seemiller
mrkneed, Anytime hair is transplanted in between or around existing hair (natural or transplanted), they could be temporarily "shocked". At 6 weeks, this isn't surprising - in fact, it's exactly when shock loss hit me after my first and second procedure, including previously transplanted hair. What you're experiencing sounds perfectly normal. Best wishes, Bill
