Senior Member HairEnthusiast101 Posted December 9, 2022 Senior Member Share Posted December 9, 2022 Do castor oil or pumpkin seed oil applied topically help at all with hair loss? I know scientifically they are not proven but to add alongside finasteride if you are allergic to topical minox…can they in theory help at all? Senior Member HappyMan2021 Posted December 9, 2022 Senior Member Share Posted December 9, 2022 I personally havent seen any posts on here or Reddit with any castor oil or pumpkin seed oil success stories. Maybe consider microneedling, but I'm even skeptical of that to a large degree.

Just curious if anyone has had any success with it. I would do topical minox but I break out bad on it. Right now just fin and red light therapy
Regular Member Amiele Posted December 10, 2022 Regular Member Share Posted December 10, 2022 I’ve been using Help Hair Protein Shake, which I think makes my hair appear healthier. You could also try applying copper peptides to your scalp. https://store.reverseskinaging.com/hair-signals-therapy-cream/ https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6073405/

Regular Member Amiele Posted December 10, 2022 Regular Member Share Posted December 10, 2022 I can definitely attest that it provides a fuller look. But I only started drinking Help Hair Shake after I got my first hair transplant in March 2021, so hard to tell if it regrows hair. I certainly wouldn’t compare the protein shake to minoxidil.

Senior Member A Fue Good Men Posted December 18, 2022 Senior Member Share Posted December 18, 2022 If you can’t use minoxidil there are a couple options that might work as growth stimulants. Stemoxydine has some studies showing it’s efficacy. Low lever laser light therapy might be another option.
