Regular Member Dr. William Lindsey Posted June 29, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted June 29, 2009 This fellow lives out of the country and had an FUE case by me last summer. He sent a few pics this year, and stopped by last week for an additional procedure. He had a nice FUE result along his crown/left part region and a reasonable response on a "trial" FUE into an older strip scar from elsewhere. I still prefer scar excision/revision but he declined. Despite some thickness of his scar, he had good vascular supply in his scar which I think allowed his FUE in the scar to work as well as it did. This is not always the case. The last 2 pictures show him on last Sunday and 5 days later. I did an otoplasty for him on Monday to bring his ears closer to his skull--something that had always bothered him. He flew back to Europe on day 6. Dr. Lindsey McLean VA William H. Regular Member Dr. William Lindsey Posted July 23, 2009 Author Regular Member Share Posted July 23, 2009 I prefer scar excision to transplantation into scars as I have posted before, but here is a case showing the latter.
