Regular Member BaldingEagle1 Posted November 22, 2022 Regular Member Share Posted November 22, 2022 Hey all, currently I’m day 5 of 7, and maybe it was just the pics but usually I’ve seen peoples recepient area get so crusty. this is my situation. it was so itchy for the past 2 days but it has improved dramatically. so I was wondering if the crust part comes later or just depends patient to patient? also seen pics of like collection of crusts or islands of dried blood.. I don’t have any of that I think? depending on how often people spray saline? Idk lol anyways, here’s pics of it now. Follow my Hair Transplant experience with Eugenix! Senior Member StillAlive Posted November 22, 2022 Senior Member Share Posted November 22, 2022 It depends on the patient's unique characteristics. I never got 'crust islands' either, but at around 10 days, the top of my head was pure white crust. Chill, all is progressing normally.
Valued Contributor Gatsby Posted November 22, 2022 Valued Contributor Share Posted November 22, 2022 It also depends on how rigorous patients are in following their surgeon’s post op instructions to the letter. I was spraying my grafts religiously and the recipient area never really got to be what I would call crusty.
