Regular Member swiftyear Posted October 10, 2022 Regular Member Share Posted October 10, 2022 More info: got my hair transplant done on the 26th sept 2022 at Bangkok Hair clinic in Thailand using FUE DHI method cost was 55THB per graft. Also got PRP + stem cell therapy (renega activa) since doc recommended them and I wasn’t transplanting on the crown (stem cell treatment will improve my crown area). Not much pain except during administering of anesthesia at the donor and reception area. Dr was Dr.Jate Jatechayanon (MD,MSc) did most of the work including taking out of grafts and making the holes. Techs did mostly implantation. Operation lasted from 11am till about 5.30pm. My hair loss was approx Norwood 5-6 with diffuse thinning. Have been on fin 0.5mg and topical minox 2x 1mg per day prior to the op. Now currently on 1mg and 2.5mg oral minox daily including some supplements like vitamin B complex Let me know what you guys think or if you have any questions! density is approx 30+ grafts per cm2 and I have quite thick and somewhat curly hair so hope that would improve the end results. before washing away scrubs approx transplanted area 3500 grafts after washing away of scubs! Can’t believe how clean it actually looks. I used the foam shampoo and just left it there for 10 mins then rubbed around the recipient area till they came off. donor area now Extent of diffused hair loss before surgery day on 25th sept

Regular Member HortonC Posted October 16, 2022 Regular Member Share Posted October 16, 2022 I'm in Bangkok right now and I noticed that Thai men have great hair. I rarely see somebody that is balding. Do you know if hair transplants are common for Thais? Also, do you know if it is easy to get Finasteride here? The clinic is operated by the 2 doctors whom are brothers Dr. Jate Jatechayanon and Dr. Jirayu Jatechayanon their abbreviation are Dr Jate and Dr Jiayu Dr Patty is under Hairtran clinic and she's also quite impressive. The famous doctors you mostly see here in Bangkok are Dr Path (DHT Clinic) and Dr Kongkiat (Absolute Hair Clinic) i guess.

Thank you 🙏 Im currently in the ugly duckling phase so it looks the same before treatment (im on my 4th month mark) usually the hair starts to grow from 4th month onwards so im hopeful it will start growing from this point onwards. I just recently went back for a check up and used their complimentary laser treatment about 6 times and their follow up and service was nothing sort of amazing.
