Is anyone currently using an topical alternate to fin/dut be a herbal products or experimental drug with any success?

I tried saw palmetto before finasteride because I was afraid of PFS.

Horrible horrible thing ever, it was like my body completely shut down. My eyes felt dry and bad. I don’t know how I even took it for a few days, it did nothing for my hairloss but made me be in extreme pain.

Fin was much better. Saw palmetto blocks both type of enzymes so perhaps that’s why it’s worse but it doesn’t even work for hairloss. I don’t know anyone who takes saw palmetto alone and has stopped hairloss from progressing but the name gets thrown around.

I am not a Guinea pig that would try experimentals on myself so never touched that stuff
