Shock loss / shedding - time frame

Hi all,

As a few of you may know, I’m considering a second surgery after getting a first transplant in Turkey a few years ago. But a few things are making me question whether I can go through it again…

I wanted to ask about shock loss / shedding. I felt that the first time this wasn’t too bad, but from seeing people’s threads on here it is obvious that you can’t predict how long this will last.

So please let me know your experience, how long from noticing the new hair falling out to it starting to grow back.. I remember reading one thread where someone’s hair didn’t grow back for months, is that normal or will he not have received good results? (I can’t find the thread now, it might have been on a different website).
