The frontal and temple hairs are most affected by testosterone as that’s the first to go even with “maturing” hairlines when puberty hits. And there’s some history for ya DHT is the main and primary antagonist for hair loss in AGA so the spike in testosterone even if it seems quite high is nowhere near as destructive as the DHT. Regular Member Viney Posted August 1, 2022 Regular Member Share Posted August 1, 2022 No it doesn't or I'd have no hairline at all (and I barely had a hairline to begin with before dut)!
Senior Member BaldDude Posted August 1, 2022 Senior Member Share Posted August 1, 2022 Is there any evidence that free testosterone (before converting to DHT) causes hair loss?

It's out there, but it's not the most destructive towards hair loss in the majority of men. Perhaps a minority of men who have an issue might be affected but for the majority, it doesn't affect us or in all the time Finasteride has been out to market, we'd see if by now in a clinical study. 1 Follow my first Hair Transplant Journey!
