Yossy
Hi all, Topical min has worked well for me since I started taking it five years ago, but I’m planning to come off it for 14 days (during the post-surgery healing process). What are people’s thoughts on taking a break from it for this long? Can I jump back on it and continue where I left off, or will I lose what I’ve maintained? Senior Member BaldDude Posted July 17, 2022 Senior Member Share Posted July 17, 2022 14 days shouldn’t cause permanent loss, but beware it will irritate your scalp and possibly cause more redness from the HT.

Rahal Hair Transplant
Yossy, Taking a break from minoxidil for two weeks because you are healing from your hair transplant won’t be a problem. These instructions are tiptal amongst all hair restoration surgeons.. But if you do want to continue benefiting from the medication, be sure to jump back on it after the healing period is over. best wishes, Rahal Hair Transplant Rahal Hair Transplant Institute - Answers to questions, posts or any comments from this account should not be taken or construed as medical advice. Senior Member GoliGoliGoli Posted July 26, 2022 Senior Member Share Posted July 26, 2022 I believe most Dr's recommend getting off Min 3-6 weeks prior to the HT as well? In order to make sure their isn't increased blood flow to the scalp during surgery?
