Regular Member Yan bio Posted July 9, 2022 Regular Member Share Posted July 9, 2022 At what point in time (4 weeks? 6 weeks? 8 weeks?) can you be sure you're one of those 'lucky bastards' who won't get the sheding period?

Rahal Hair Transplant
Yan bio, Unfortunately, trying to put a percentage on when you will know for sure if you’re one of those lucky individuals who never experience the initial hair shedding after hair transplant surgery is pseudoscience. The initial shedding typically occurs between 4 to 6 weeks after The day of the procedure. Therefore, I think if you make it 2 to 3 months without experiencing any shedding, it’s probably pretty safe to say that you won’t experience it at all. But like your post already suggests, this is exceptionally rare and most individuals do experience that shed and new hair grow typically begins between 3 to 5 months post-op. So are you asking because you might be one of the lucky ones not to experience the initial postop shed? Eugenix Hair Sciences
It can't be generalised whether you would have shedding or not. Sometimes there is also partial shedding. However, a month or two are enough to tell whether there is shedding or not as the hair grow and start attaining length.
