Propecia Long Term

Hello, I am 20 and suffer a bit from MPB. I went to my dermatologist and expressed concern over my receding hair line. To start he put me on Rogaine (5%) and told me to see how that treatment does over the next year. After taking it for a few months, I noticed some growth but mainly just small hairs. Now my question, I researched a good bit about propecia and the side effects. Some I heard were just a bit of impotence while others are so drastic as it makes users sterile. For the people that have used finastride for years (5-10+), what are your results for fertility and other side effects? Does it make you sterile or any thing else? Mind you, I am 20 and having kids is still a big thing on my list of things to do. icon_wink.gif

Only 2-3% of finasteride users suffer from sexual side effects. I've been using it for more than 10 years and I've had no problems.

Women should not take finasteride. If you want to have a kid, stop your treatment at least a month before intercourse.

There are studies that suggest that finasteride interferes with the motility and motivity of the sperm.
