Who did your transplant btw? I would speak with him or her. I don't see anything to worry about. Rahal Hair Transplant Posted June 10, 2022 Share Posted June 10, 2022 Akmhtc, while hair growth yield is typically quite high if you’ve chosen a skilled and experienced hair transplant surgeon, there are typically a few grafts that simply don’t grow. These will stay in your scalp for a while and then eventually fall out. That’s what seems to be happening here. I wouldn’t expect to see too many of those but there may be a couple more over the course of the next month or so. It's impossible to make any decisions or judgements at this point of a final outcome. I know and realize this is frustrating. Unfortunately 'patience' is the one thing you need throughout the entire process of a hair transplant. Frankly, I’m not surprised that a 4200 graft FUE procedure took approximately 12 hours to complete. In fact, and some ways I’m surprised it didn’t take a little longer. i’m not sure who told you that it only takes approximately 68 hours to complete a hair transplant procedure. To be honest, there really is no General proximate you can apply because there are so many variables that will affect the time it takes. In fact, FUE sessions are sometime spread out over multiple consecutive days because in some cases there are just not enough hours in a day to complete the entire procedure/session. Regarding your photos and progress, and say you are exactly where you should be at 2.5 months. I would expect that you’ll start experiencing new signs of growth in the next month or two and of course, it will take up to 1218 months to fully grow in and sure. Keep in mind that in most cases, newly transplant hair will grow in thin and colorless. Overtime, it will thicken, darken and mature.
