Rejected twice for HT due to not using fin?

Finasteride is off patent now. Big pharma has much less to gain than in the past because you can purchase generic version for dirt cheap. In US, you can buy a years worth for less than $9. Also, finasteride was the drug that halted or slowed down my hair loss. I have been taking it for more than 10 years now. Lastly, many reputable hair surgeons strongly recommend their patients to take finasteride such as Dr Couto, Dr Sethi, etc.

I am not saying it doesn't work, but statements such as 'it's FDA approved, it's safe' completely ignore the problems that can be associated with it.
