Senior Member Sparse Posted November 10, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted November 10, 2009 I don't see any pre-op pics on the blog . . . it's hard to evaluate progress (or lack thereof) without them. (Also, it would be helpful to have the blog link embedded in your signature.) Grow well . . . Senior Member mgem Posted December 10, 2009 Author Senior Member Share Posted December 10, 2009 I've got to be honest before i saw these preop/postop pics i was getting a bit down and worried about my growth rate, especially when you see other folks growth, comb is a good example of fast growth but were all different. Now i've seen them there is good growth, all the numbness is gone and the scar has healed very well.I guess i'm still struggling with being a patient patient!!.I will put some more pics up after xmas thanks mgem My Hair Loss Website - Hair Transplant with Dr. Feller
Senior Member Maxxy Posted December 10, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted December 10, 2009 Mgem, Did you recieve any treatment for AA prior to your transplant?
Senior Member mgem Posted December 10, 2009 Author Senior Member Share Posted December 10, 2009 Not that i know of. I had scurvy when i was about 7 or 8 and the doctor perscribed betnovate which either burnt my scalp or the scurvy was picked/scratched off resulting in the patch. Various specialists only ever told me to use medicated shampoo, not really interested was the impression i always got. Senior Member Maxxy Posted December 10, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted December 10, 2009 Hey Mgem, I'm a little confused. So your bald patch wasn't a case of alopecia areata (AA)?

Bill - Seemiller
Mgem, Hang in there my friend. There are signs of improvement but 6.5 months is still quite early, especially for the crown. Best wishes, Bill
