I often hear 12 months quoted as the waiting period before HT2 but isn't that more about seeing the full results from HT1? Bill - Seemiller Posted July 22, 2009 Share Posted July 22, 2009 Imissthebarber, I believe waiting 12 months is optimal between strip procedures for 1 solid reason and an a second possible reason. The solid reason: This gives the scalp and its elasticity time to return The second possible reason: If hair is being transplanted in the same area to densify it, it's good to let the first hair transplant come to maturity. This way you only have one linear scar.
