ezekiel99
Got a hair transplant about 10 months ago, about 2000 grafts on the front, but i'm looking for a little bit more density. Is micropigmentation a good idea? Or should I simply do a second hair transplant? What do you guys think? thanks Edited March 17, 2022 by ezekiel99
Moderators Al - Moderator Posted March 15, 2022 Moderators Share Posted March 15, 2022 I don't know if more density is going to help very much. From the pictures it looks like the hairline is too low especially at the sides and the hairline hair is pointing up and outward. It seems like those grafts should be angled more and laying down closer to the scalp. I think adding grafts is just going o use up a lot of your donor for a small area that may be too low for the long term if you lose hair behind it. Rahal Hair Transplant
Ezekiel, in my opinion, scalp micro pigmentation is an excellent masking technique that can provide individuals with an illusion of having short cropped hair or some additional density although how effective the illusion is depends on a number of factors including lighting, hairstyle, etc. my personal opinion is, if you’re looking for long-term additional density and want the flexibility and ability to be able to style and cut your hair the way you please, consider undergoing a second hair transplant procedure. On another hand, if you are determined that you’re going to wear your hair crop short and/or want to for the camouflage any scarring, then scalp micropigmentation may be your technique Best wishes, Rahal Hair Transplant Rahal Hair Transplant Institute - Answers to questions, posts or any comments from this account should not be taken or construed as medical advice.
