Impact of a vasoconstrictor 2+ months post-op

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

Would something like smoking have a meaningful difference in long term outcome if done 2+ months post-op? Or is that more of a concern early on.

On a related note, is there anything else I should avoid at this point?

We don't really discuss recreational drugs here. I would discuss this with your surgeon.

Fair point, edited to remove. Still curious about smoking though! I’ve used search and found threads saying it’s a concern very early on, but that it shouldn’t matter by month 5-6. Since I’m right in the middle of those two, looking for guidance :)

Dr. Bisanga said that smoking does affect it, but if smoking stops your stress, then it’s better to smoke. Stress he said is much worse.
