Hair transplant help

Hey guys,

I want to do hair transplant and have been talking with clinics in turkey and also dr  mwamba in Belgium

He recommended 2000-2500 grafs in my temples and to lower my hairline  and the thinning in the midt-scalp.  I feel i am a diffuse thinner. What is your recommendation

No, iam not on minox or finasteride, and iam 28 years old. I have only been in contact with cheap clinics. I took finasteride before but i quite for like 6-7months ago

It looks like you might have retrograde. Did Mwamba mention anything about your donor? It does not look suitable for a transplant in its' current state. You don't look like diffuse thinning but rather normal temple and hairline recession associated with Androgentic alopecia.

Thining hair (affected by DHT) in donor area, in the first photo is very visible, you should try with dutasteride and at least wait 18 month to do the HT

No, i didnt send pictures to him, they only said come and do HT, and they didnt ask for it

Wait, so you're saying he agreed to perform a hair transplant on you without an in person consultation or an online assessment via photographs? That just doesn't seem accurate for an ethical and well established physician such as Dr. Mwamba. Can you elaborate on your interaction with the clinic?

I mean he didnt ask for donor area pictures, i send him now, and he said they have to examinait my scalp with dermatoscope. Because he told me that my donor area look low in density

Please don't give up the medication, you donor area look weak but you receipt zone has a very high density

It does indeed look low in density, I wasn’t sure at first what kind of haircut you have. But yes the density you have on top is very good compared to what we can see across the donor zone.

I have already started with the finasteride for 2 days ago, and i will continue to take them. When i cut my hair i always cut with fade, thats why u see less hair downstairs compared to the top.  My hair is very thin on the top too, but since i got curls, it cover my scalp, and it looks thick, but it doesnt.

A turkey clinic contacted me in message and told me they can do 4500 grafts in one session, is that true? 

And do u have more reccomendation about my hair and grafts?

Did they send you a message on here ? What clinic was they representing ? I noticed someone join yesterday just to message everyone 🙄
