Regular Member Beno99 Posted July 27, 2021 Regular Member Share Posted July 27, 2021 I’m in turkey right now and it’s very hot here during the day, I went out today for some hours the first time since the hair transplant and sweated quite a bit because of the weather. Could this potentially cause damage to the grafts ? Or is it safe 15 days post op ?

Its just that online I’ve read you need to avoid sweating and the sun for a few weeks or it might damage the grafts. I’ve did a good job avoiding both till today. I hope what happened today won’t have an effect on the results.
Senior Member Britanium Posted July 27, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted July 27, 2021 Yes you should be careful to get sun burn on the skin thats recovering the first 2 weeks. But the grafts themselves are very well secure under the surface after the first 7 days. You can protect yourself from getting sun burnt but sweating isn’t going to cause a issue.
