TopMop
Greetings -- I am in the middle of the shedding phase and suspect it is normal, but I have seen several hairs shed that bend slightly at the very bottom of the follicle. The entire hair is short and straight, but at the very bottom is takes a turn in what I would imagine is the area that would be around the root (makes something like a 150 degree angle). It is not curved, it is closer to a crease. I'm interested in what would make it take that shape. Thanks for any feedback.

Senior Member mafpe Posted May 5, 2022 Senior Member Share Posted May 5, 2022 it's probably bent when inserted? i had worries about it affecting graft survival but no one here seems to talk about it or care, so i guessed it won't affect the graft survival, otherwise people will go "DHI is the best way to ensure survival since manual implantation might bent the graft/follicle" would love to hear if it is true or not though. Senior Member gillenator Posted May 5, 2022 Senior Member Share Posted May 5, 2022 Very doubtful any follicles were “bent”.
