Senior Member Mark2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted March 11, 2010 Ive heard that finesteride can cause birth defects is this true ? Should finesteride users always have protected sex to avoid possible problems with their partners pregnancy ?
Senior Member drmstx Posted March 12, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted March 12, 2010 Mark My view on this is very simple. Am I willing to take a chance and risk having a baby born with congenital defects? Or should I give up Finasteride for a few months before conception just to be on the safer side? Regular Member Big Allan Posted March 13, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted March 13, 2010 I agree with drmtx. But always contact Doctor. I do not think, my blood collecting company is very reputed, so one should not neglect it.
