moxonator
I am getting a hair transplant in the UK. Any tips or advice...at the minute i'm considering the hospital group or advanced hair studio. Has anyone had good/bad experiences with them? Can i get some advice? Senior Member Sparky Posted November 20, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted November 20, 2009 Dont go to either of these they will butcher the crap out of your head. Hospital Group are one of the worst Clinics in the world, and Advanced Hair Studios only do dodgy wigs. I attach a picture of my scar that I recieved from The Hospital Group/Wellsbourne. UK isnt great for Hair Transplants m8, I've a lot of my hairs that they transplanted removed, because they looked rubbish. Senior Member Maxxy Posted November 20, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted November 20, 2009 Hey Moxonator, The Farjo Medical Centre is the only clinic in the UK that I would personally consider, there are also some excellent clinics in Belgium if you are willing to travel a little. The fact that you have narrowed it down to two very bad choices shows you have not done enough research yet. Honestly, please spend at least a few months on this site, researching a lot. This is a life time decision and one you could regret for the rest of your life if you make the wrong choice with clinics.
moxonator
what are the names of the clinics in belgium and typically how much money is a transplant by farjo and how much is one in belgium?
Senior Member Maxxy Posted November 20, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted November 20, 2009 The cost will all depend on your personal situation and goal. There is Dr. Devroye and Dr. Feriduni both of whom are coalition members. (see link) There is also BHR, who are producing excellent results. Senior Member Sparky Posted November 20, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted November 20, 2009 Yes there is also BHR although not recommended they are as good as the other 2 surgeons on here. Ive been to them to get repair and although I'm only at 1 month therefore I dont have growth into my scar yet because it takes 3 months to start to see the signs of growth, thier customer service is excellent and I'm so far happy with what they have done for me. Whenever I had a procedure in the UK I was terrified before doing it, but I felt none of this terror at all when at BHR. Infact I was sad when the first procedure was over because I was so comfortable in the chair! Senior Member Maxxy Posted November 30, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted November 30, 2009 The best clinics in the UK are in Belguim. The three listed are all good. Though it's fairly close, Belguim is a different country m8.
Senior Member Sparky Posted November 30, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted November 30, 2009 Totally different country, its not even the same language My Hairloss Website http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/home-page.asp?WebID=2198
Regular Member LondonTraveller Posted December 2, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted December 2, 2009 Language should not be a problem in Belgium and Dr Bisanga at BHR Clinic. Dr B. has been trained in the USA and his lead technician (Leonard) is American. Plus Brussels is very 'international' and English is almost a third official language. Senior Member Sparky Posted December 2, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted December 2, 2009 Language wasnt really my point, just saying that Belguim is as much in England as China is in America.
