I did research that said the amino acid lysine helps propecia work more effectively. Can anyone add to something they tried that helped slow down their hair loss? Regular Member LeesHair Posted August 7, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted August 7, 2009 Compared with propecia, any natural supplement or amino acid is going to be less effective, or add only a small additional effect. If you can take propecia without any side effects then keep going with that, have you thought about using something topically as well?
