Regular Member Dr. William Lindsey Posted January 13, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted January 13, 2010 This fellow had a 2800 graft case last month and was in yesterday for a scar check. He has the usual amount of redness that most redish complected folks have in both the recipient and donor areas at a month. It may actually worsen for a few weeks then fade fairly rapidly. In contrast to another 2800 case that I recently posted in a thicker haired brunette, this fellow has thinner hair shafts and therefore had less coverage with the same graft count. This is another example of patients needing more or fewer grafts to cover a specific area depending on what "they bring to the table", ie; hair shaft size, density required, color match/mismatch.
