If you caught your hair loss early enough, why bother with the Minoxidil? I'd suggest starting off low and then seeing how your body reacts and working from there. You can also use topical finasteride. There are topical finasteride/minoxidil combo solutions as well and you won't get the systemic side effects from oral finasteride.
