MaximeL
Hi, Does anyone know if we are supposed to wait before resuming laser helmet/cap treatment (such as iRestore, Capillus, etc.) after performing FUE surgery? If yes, for how long? Thanks.
JBAtlanta
I was told to start immediately in my postop instructions.

Senior Member gillenator Posted October 22, 2019 Senior Member Share Posted October 22, 2019 Best to ask your doctor about resuming this post-op. Gillenator Independent Patient Advocate I am not a physician and not employed by any doctor/clinic. My opinions are not medical advice, but are my own views which you read at your own risk. JBAtlanta
That WAS the advice of a doctor, Dr. Ken Anderson, MD. A mighty fine one. Now, what exactly IS an "independent patient advocate"??? Oh....I get it....you,re "associated and "supported" by a couple of Docs....so basically strolling for business. What a scam!
MaximeL
@gillenator I didn't get surgery yet, I was just wondering. Also I don't think the answer is specific per case, I think it's the same for everyone, like everyone should protect the hair from UVs for the 3 months following surgery. JBAtlanta
UV (sunshine) is different than laser (LLLT) Post-OP, it is recommended to help the grafts. My surgeon even recommended using it BEFORE the procedure, fyi.
MaximeL
Yes I know UV is different, I should have used another example, my point was just to say that certain things must be avoided, whoever the patient or doctor are.
JBAtlanta
Yes....but for the LAST time here...LLLTherapy is not.
