a strange question...

I'm just over 2 months post-op. About a month ago, shedding of the transplanted hairs seemed to stop. There are quite a few of the transplanted hairs that continued to grow and have gotten about an inch or so long. I noticed some stubbly hairs and wondered if they were transplants waiting to shed or transplanted hairs that had already shed growing back for good. I tugged gently on one with a tweezer and it seemed firmly rooted. I tugged another and it slipped right out.

My question is this: when the transplanted hair have shed, gone through telogen and start the growing phase again, are they firmly rooted in the scalp, or is it possible to dislodge them simply by scratching your head or putting on a hat?
