I believe the intention of the application is to be a supplement to minoxidil, as Dr. Lee recommended, using the cream, 20-30 minutes after applying minoxidil. Spiro on its own does not "force" hair to grow like minoxidil, it is supposed to inhibit DHT in the scalp, and prevent binding of DHT to androgen receptors on the hair follicles.
