I haven't had a good night of boozing in about a month now. I'm wondering, is it safe to do so? Will I mess with my healing process? I believe it's to prevent the blood thinning and causing problems with healing. It was hard not to have a few beers with buddies prior to the HT and after the fact you are probably more than ready to tie one on. I waited about a month, just so my body could focus on healing the recipient and the donor. I did have a beer here and there, but didn't really drink until after a month.
