Regular Member bayareaht Posted January 28, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted January 28, 2010 I've had 3 transplants. Crown got 400, 550 and 1000 grafts in each. Considering I can go for another, how many grafts do you think I need to decently cover the crown? Recent crown coverage under strong light is attached. Senior Member hairthere Posted January 28, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted January 28, 2010 imo, 2000 grafts would give you decent coverage, but 3k would be ideal. Dr. Glenn Charles
I would recommend 1800-2000 follicular unit grafts. The area is not that big and you already have apprx. 2000 grafts there from prior procedures. You also want to consider saving some donor in case you need it for some other area in the future.
