Post FUE questions

I made a thread in the FUE that isn't getting a lot of love so thought I'd ask some specific questions here.

I am now 12 days post FUE and I was wondering when would be a good time to be able to play football again- heading the ball etc is part of the game and obviously don't want to come back too early.

Has anyone had some itchininess? The back and side of my head is really itchy at times- has anyone used any aloe Vera gel to help with this?

Hi Micknick,

Not had my HT as yet, 7 weeks and counting. But I will give you the benefit of what I have read mainly on this forum.

10 days is usually the magic period quoted for grafts to be fully anchored. I would strongly suggest you leave as long as possible before heading a football. Personally I would not consider heading a ball for the first six months. Go in goals or referee :D.

Itchiness is also very common, in both zones many days after the HT. Most guys on here use Aloe Vera or Witch Hazel to help in this area.

Have you posted any pics you could share?

Good luck

Thanks will look at your thread. Air on the side of caution. No point undoing all that good work.

Just read your thread micknick. Keep your chin up, everyone having a HT has to go through the same. The longest journey always starts with the first step, and you are well on your way.

I would use the excuse of Folliculitis if anyone asks about the inflammation. Just remember Mr or Mrs average will have very little knowledge of HT's or the tell tale signs.
