HairSniffer
Hi all Very motivated to do a hair transplant from all the posts in this forum, a sliver of hope. I have three questions if you don't mind assisting: 1. Are there any reputable FUE surgeons in Asia? Looking in particular at South Korea, can anyone share any positive stories? 2. I have seen some photos where as part of the surgery there is redness in the scalp, how long does this persist for? I am planning to take a 4 week break from work to let this heal, is this enough to hide the redness? 3. Can you please provide some input as to how many grafts I may need? I plan to bring the hairline back down, and the top is thinning, so plan to put some in there too for a more natural look. Thank you.
Senior Member Swooping Posted August 8, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted August 8, 2017 Redness can linger on for some weeks but it is likely most of it has subsided after 4 weeks in the recipient area. Are you on any medication, also how old are you? Proud to be a representative of world elite hair transplant surgeon Dr. Bisanga - BHR Clinic. HairSniffer
Thanks for the quick reply. I am 29 and not currently on any medication, only taking vitamins such as Biotin, Zinc etc.. Also read somewhere that post OP, maintenance is required with Rogaine, is this absolutely necessary? Thanks again.
