  1. Ouch.. Hurts more than I care to admit, I'm -10 years your guess
  2. this may be a stupid question. But if I go on Finasteride, and see regrowth, is there a chance the hair may stay permanently? I've been thinking about my receeding hairline, and think it was due to a few years of high stress and further worsened by Creatine supplements I was taking as part of my Gym routine. My family and grandparents did not have signs of hairloss until 70+
  3. thanks for the input guys. I live in Australia, so a bit removed from the rest of the world, I've read the forums and most HT people are in europe/usa/turkey. Anyone know otherwise?
  4. Hi All Seeking some advice from you. I had thinning hair for ~3-4 years, more noticable in recent years, what permanent options are they for people with diffusal hair loss? Conscious that as I age they will thin even more and may make my top look worse unless i replace all of the hairs on top of my head. What have other people with diffusal hair loss done? See photo
  5. Hi all Looking for your advice please. Very motivated to do a hair transplant from all the posts in this forum, a sliver of hope. I am 28 and family does not have a history of hairloss (grandparents had heads full of hair), I think its prolonged stress/ alcohol and poor diet since I was 18. I think I am a norwood 3V. Left and right temples have receeded over the past 7 years and whole top area is getting thin, visibly so under bright light. I don't mind FUT over FUE, if scars are well hidden, generally hair is left longer than a 4 guard. I have four questions if you don't mind assisting: 1. How effective is HT on thinning areas (top of head) will it be able to look dense again? is there a probability that it might make it worse than it already is? 2. Are there any reputable surgeons in Asia who actually perform the procedure? Looking in particular at South Korea, can anyone share any positive stories? 2. I have seen some photos where as part of the surgery there is redness in the scalp, how long does this persist for? I am planning to take a 4 week break from work to let this heal, is this enough to hide the redness? 3. Can you please provide some input as to how many grafts I may need? I plan to bring the hairline back down, and the top is thinning, so plan to put some in there too for a more natural look. Please see my pictures below.
  6. Thanks for the quick reply. I am 29 and not currently on any medication, only taking vitamins such as Biotin, Zinc etc.. Also read somewhere that post OP, maintenance is required with Rogaine, is this absolutely necessary? Thanks again.
