Chiguy1215
So i will likely start finasteride 1mg in the near future. Hopefully no side effects. Since it's not covered by insurance, I'm wondering what's the cheapest and safe spots to obtain finasteride especially if script renewals are not needed? I've seen folks post stuff about getting mailed meds by just filling out online forms. That's obviously less trustworthy than a local pharmacy but curious if people have reliable sources. And could a physician provide a 90 day supply script with at least 3 refills? Or they gonna force you to come back every 3 months when the drug takes forever to show results? Since links are not posted due to TOS, you may send a PM. Thanks everybody!
Senior Member Coach Posted July 22, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted July 22, 2017 When I started using Propecia, it was around $60 a month, then it went up to $90+ a month. My doctor suggested trying a 5mg finasteride pill and cut it. For 30 pills at the CVS pharmacy in target, it costs $9, and a month supply cut into fours lasts 4 months. I haven't noticed a difference at all between this and the propecia.
