My head shape seems similar to your photos. You have pictures of just buzzed to #1 in the donor area? Have you shaved the donor site area completely again? If so, how noticable are the microscars now about 4 months out? Did you apply any creams to the donor area? Thanks

So i will likely start finasteride 1mg in the near future. Hopefully no side effects. Since it's not covered by insurance, I'm wondering what's the cheapest and safe spots to obtain finasteride especially if script renewals are not needed? I've seen folks post stuff about getting mailed meds by just filling out online forms. That's obviously less trustworthy than a local pharmacy but curious if people have reliable sources. And could a physician provide a 90 day supply script with at least 3 refills? Or they gonna force you to come back every 3 months when the drug takes forever to show results? Now I know the main purpose of FUE is to relocate hair. But has anybody shaved their head after FUE months to years down the road? How does it look? Any pictures? Links would be appreciated. Any particular strategies to reduce micropuncture scar visibility by top notch surgeons? Would a #1 (think 1/8 inch) haircut reveal the donor sites? I'm not looking for a lower hairline or filling in the temple region, but mostly keeping the top and crown area denser. I tend to wear my hair short. Thanks!

Does Dr. Konior's office start you on the medication such as finasteride? Or they simply are involved in surgical cases? And anybody had bad side effects from scalp PRP? That are strictly from the treatment, not their ongoing hair loss.

Hello everyone, New to this forum and after some searches, I can't say I found what I'm looking for. My goals: 1. First only non surgical options and will save FUE for the future. 2. Rely on Finasteride. I don't see myself sticking to Rogaine foam twice a day meaning before bed. 3. Restore density in mid scalp and near hairline area. My hair is primarily thinning. Questions: 1. Should PRP always include Acell or the other ECMs? 2. If the front and mid scalp need to be focused on, how much volume is usually injected? 3. How often are the injections done initially? I see varying intervals! 4. Cost per year for PRP? 5. Recommendations from patients on place to visit near Chicago? I obviously don't want gimmicks. Thanks!
