Senior Member hairlosscpa Posted July 7, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted July 7, 2017 Looks like yield was excellent. However with the graft placement and absolutely no temple points, it sort of looks like he's wearing a wig. 1st Procedure, Oct. 2012 - 1,704 grafts FUT w/Dr. True 2nd Procedure, Sept. 2015 - 2500 grafts FUE w/Dr. Vories FUE Progress - http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/180966-my-experience-w-dr-vories-2-500-grafts.html FUE 1 year result - http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/184716-1-year-results-2-500-grafts-w-dr-vories.html
Regular Member Bernstein Medical Posted July 10, 2017 Author Regular Member Share Posted July 10, 2017 Excellent point. This patient could benefit from temple restoration, unfortunately he did not have the donor supply and we made the decision to use all the hair on top. It is important to keep in mind that temple thinning diminishes the donor supply as the donor hair needs to be taken mainly form the back. This must be taken into account. Temple hair loss also portends more significant hair loss overall. Bernstein Medical - Center for Hair Restoration Schedule a consultation HERE to request a graft estimate and quote. Senior Member hairthere Posted July 10, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted July 10, 2017 I think the hair style this patient has chosen may add to the "wig" look. However, it's certainly not egregious and I wouldn't say this screams toupee, or transplant for that matter. Looks like a natural result and good use of limited donor. Nice work Dr. Bernstein! And judging by the smile on his face, the patient feels pretty good about it, too.
