Rider
Hi. The only reason i am hesitant to start finasteride is because i plan on having kids in the near future. i am worried it may negatively effect my semen level and make it hard to conceive? is it totally safe to be on finasteride and have kids? or is is recommended to stop it a few months before trying to have kids? best regards! Senior Member gillenator Posted June 23, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted June 23, 2017 Rider, If you read the phaymacology information that support the clinical trials that Merck does, you will find that low dose finasteride did not impede the sperm count in semen samples. This information can be found in the packaging of every bottle of Propecia and it can be found online as well.
