I just received a 3000 FUT from Dr. Raymond Konior

Recommended Posts

Everything is going good so far. I am still recovering in the hotel. The Doctor and staff are great. I went over these boards for over 10 years to decide what to do. I'm so glad I choose Dr. Konior. My surgery was this past Thursday. Here are some pics from today. One of them is dry from like a month ago pre surgery.

Lookin good. Seems like you got a lot of coverage for 3000 grafts. Was the goal just to gain density or fill in the front area?

You, like me, seemed to have plenty of hair before your HT. People were probably like why are you even doing this. But you'll show them in 10 months!

Are you on Propecia?

I have some thinning in the crown that he put a few hundred grafts in. I had gotten off propecia for like 7 years to have my kids but have been on it again for a year and a half. I also using kirklands minox extra strength liquid. I wanted to get more density and to strengthen my hairline. I don't believe he lowered it that much just made it solid. I pretty much just told the doctor to do what he thought was best and that I trusted him. He went from the front and all the way back to the crown. Thanks for the feedback guys this was a big day for me and one I have wanted for probably 15 years.

@jemaddox, any regrets so far? I just scheduled a FUT 1800 graft procedure with Dr K for next year. I'm so excited! I'm not going to shave to conceal things for work (I can't wear a hat like you), which said should work out fine considering the # of grafts I'm looking at.

No regrets at all. I'm glad I made the decision to do it and he is an awesome doctor. Just relax and wait, you will actually enjoy the day you have it done because you know your fixing an issue that has always bothered you. Plus IMO your having your procedure done by the best in the world so there is nothing to worry about. I'm a firefighter so I'm kind of nervous about going back to work even with the hat because I still have to take it off and put my helmet off and on throughout the day. But we will see how it goes. Please reach out if you have any questions brother!
