Scalp bumps post HT

When you are completely heeled, you should not have any bumps. Bumps after heeling is known as "cobblestone".

It is from grafts that were not placed deep enough under the skin.

I read you are only 1 month or so out of surgery. Don't worry much about it at this point. You are still healing.

I had bumps upto 3 months after my 2nd HT. They were quite big too. They eventually went away.

notsohairy,

I am two months out (almost exactly) from 2300 grafts. I have these small "pimples" also. I have been advised that I CAN pop them, just to not scratch or pick at them, as this can possibly dislodge the graft (ouch!) and/or cause scarring. I have heard of these being present as far out as a year post-op. At one month post op, you are very much still healing. I would like to hear your clarification that it is little "pimples" and not actual "cobblestones."

oh, very true.. my over sight in my comment.

I forgot to take in consideration of, in grown hairs and pimples.

Where are they located? Crown, mid scalp, or hairline.

Are they white headed like pimples, or just raised?

Due you have hair growing from them?
