nathanielbowditch18
Hi all, long time lurker, first time poster! I'm a Norwood 4 who lives in California. I've been researching FUT and FUE and I think I want around 3000 grafts through an FUT. I've narrowed down my search to a couple of surgeons like Wong and Rahal, but through the process I was curious: How did you choose your surgeon? Additionally, is there anything I should know as I'm choosing? Thanks in advance.
Senior Member hsrp10 Posted September 20, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted September 20, 2016 This forum and also recently RealSelf etc offer a wealth of research information and patient experiences. My only additional advice would be to make your final decision by (1) having a direct in-person consultation with the doctor at the clinic beforehand where possible and (2) if possible to meet in person real former patients of the doctor you're going to. go dense or go home Unbiased advice and opinions based on 25 plus years of researching and actual experience with hair loss, hair restoration via both FUT & FUE, SMP, scalp issues including scalp eczema & seborrheic dermatitis and many others HSRP10's favorite FUT surgeons: *Dr. Konior, *Dr Hasson, Dr. Rahal HSRP10's favorite FUE surgeons: *Dr. Konior, *Dr. Bisanga, Dr. Erdogan, Dr. Couto (*indicates actual experience with doctor)

nathanielbowditch18
@hsrp10 Thanks! I will. Do you have any advice on how to meet in person with former patients outside forums? Should I ask the clinics?
