Medellin
Hi! I'd appreciate your opinion on going on a cut the months (losing several kg) following a hair transplant. Let's say your maintenance is 2500. Would cutting at 1800-2000 calories a day have any impact on the hair whatsoever? Obviously with the protein kept high, regular exercise and adequate vitamin intake. Best regards

Senior Member matt1164 Posted March 25, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted March 25, 2016 this has happened to me many times. I do shed hairs in a severe caloric deficit. I have gotten under 10% bf a few times on a diet of about 1800 cals, and if your good fats are too low you can lose hairs. You must keep your intake of healthy fats up! try like 4,000- 6,000 mgs of fish oil a day. also if you are taking out calories from your diet, do it slowly. take out 100 calories a day each week. don't shock your system too much at once.
