Hi Folks -

I joined recently & found some of the threads really useful. Appreciate that members take out time to share their experiences and provide valuable suggestions for others to decide on the next steps:D

So here comes my case for review ;)

I am currently 34 years of age & have been suffering from male pattern hair loss since my teenage. On top of that I have chronic seborrheic dermatitis of scalp, which aggravates hairfall and makes it difficult for me to sport long hair. I have had a trimmed haircut for past 15 years or so.

I am looking for a Surgeon in INDIA who can restore my hairline & fillup my crown/ top scalp to provide a much fuller look. Request inputs/ advice on which Surgeon/ Clinic should I go for?

Much appreciate your inputs in advance.

Thanks again.

There are plenty of surgeons recommended on the forum. Do thorough research before u plunge in. You seem to have good donor area density. Careful planning could give you excellent results.

I got it done by Dr. Arika Bansal, M.D, at Eugenix Hair Clinic India and went with an surgeon who is not yet recommended on this forum, but in my belief has excellent results in taking up NW6/7 cases. I am very happy so far. 4 months out >9,000 grafts, link to my thread is in my signature below.

I did research doctors, clinics, their patients etc.. for quite sometime before making up my mind as to what procedure and which doctor. One cannot emphasize enough about the importance of doing diligent research with regards to the above.

This forum is is always here to help you out.

Goodluck.

Thanks Harin for the detailed response. I went through your case thread and your results look impressive. If I may ask, what is the per graft cost that you were charged? I checked the Eugenix website for pricing & its in USD...I was expecting more of a INR level pricing :D...If I need to pay in USD then I would rather get it done in US & not fly all the way to India !!

Hi

I got my transplant 3 months ago from Dr Gaurang Krishna from Medlinks which is in New Delhi. I got 2800 grafts and paid INR 154,000.

So far i am happy with the results. Also, I had scouted almost all top notch clinics for 2yrs before deciding with Dr Gaurang.

I have a whole journey of videos on my YouTube channel for it, if you're interested here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJaB5IXaXWZZU9I9ZtkNYHQ

Also, my latest 3rd month update video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aSuKsFHcNHM

Lemme know if you have any question.

I Agree, INR pricing would be more economical. Why don't u call the clinic and talk to them?. I am sure they would give you their exact price which would be competetive.

More than pricing its extremely important to go for quality, but as you said when one can get quality at affordable price then that's great!!!.

Also check your PM, I sent you one.

Also I agree with vinaymeiux.......make sure you meet 1/2 patients if possible of any HT doctor and review all their results. It is important that you research well, One cannot emphasize that part enough.
