kostik
Hello, After I uses Minoxidil(Kirkland), I experienced lots of dandruff. I think that when I have dandruff much more hair fall off my head(maybe twice as much as usual). Can minoxidil worsen my situation? Should i change to another product? Thanks for answer
Dr Blake Bloxham
Kostik, Minoxidil can irritate the scalp and cause redness, dryness, and "dandruff." Are you using the liquid or foam version? The foam generally causes less irritation. There is also a 2% solution available (which may be less irritating). Dr. Blake Bloxham is recommended by the Hair Transplant Network. Senior Member Rawkerboi Posted October 28, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted October 28, 2015 These are common side effects of Liquid Minoxidil and I am quite sure, you are using Liquid version, Kindly switch it to Foam based version also use Nizoral 2% shampoo twice a week, which might keep your scalp clean
