Senior Member Spanker Posted July 25, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted July 25, 2015 So, I could ask my doctor, but I rarely pose questions anymore so I thought that I'd throw this out there. A hair starts a new cycle and it's shaped kind of like a blade of grass. If you part your hair tight you will see that you have some tiny hair sticking up. How do you know if it's new or on it's way out. How long must a hair be before it should be at full thickness? Thoughts? HareClubForMen
This is a great question, and would love if it could be answered! I often look at my hair and wonder if the little guys that I see are just miniaturized, or if they are new sprouts.
Regular Member ForeverLacey Posted August 15, 2015 Regular Member Share Posted August 15, 2015 By the third to forth month a new hair should be at full thickness. Just find a tapered hair on your head and pull it and measure how long the taper is. If it's an inch 1/2 then it took 3 months.
