Aim - To get an ok-ish coverage, not expecting much due to severe baldness/family history and minimal donar area .... See my last pic to see how i used to look prior to a HT

Ok - so day 65 - the 2 month mark and all is going well .... growth, thickness, haircuts etc

When I started looking into HTs I was honestly not expecting much - a simple hairline, a little bit of stubble would have been sufficient and anything else would have been a bonus. Being realistic, I knew that my hair/head would not look like it did when i was 22 (now im 30).

I am daily taking a 1mg Finisteride tablet and applying minoxidil twice a day in the hope that it will do some magic.

Hair cuts -

I do not wish to grow my hair long (more than grade 4), or have a long hair hairstyle, use gel/wax style etc (not my aim at the moment). Butt .... I know what type of hair style I want - that is short back and side (buzz cut).

As my hair on the sides is thicker and grows faster than the HT hair on top, i have started going to the hairdressers in an attempt to look more presentable. For the last 3 weeks I have simply cut the sides at a zero grade (nothing but skin) and then the top i have left to grow or slightly trim (grade 1.5-2) to give an even look and a nice blend.

Overall I am happy with the results especially on day 65. I also like the hair line as its straight and looks good without needing any work to shave or shape.

I am now looking to get another transplant using body hair and as much of the hair i can use from the back of my head to fill in missing areas and what i need to do in order to make my head look good.

Anyways guys ... as always i appreciate feedback (good or bad). What do you think of this HT so far bearing in mind it only cost ?1k and i was originally a Norwood 5/6 and this is just the first procedure of 2.

Wow....it looks great! Just adding the stubble with a hairline makes a HUGE difference. I'm also shocked that at a grade zero you can barely see any scarring in your donor area. Somebody would really have to know what they are looking for to tell.

I think your strategy is great and your goals are very obtainable. Hell, you probably already achieved it at day 65. Congrats!

Hi

There is no real scaring however as my donar area is limited and lots of hair has been taken you can tell that something is missing or its not the same consistency for the back area BUT ... if you cut hair regularly or grow it long enough, you can hardly tell.
