Scalp bumps - 12 months post op

Hello everyone,

I had a FUT of 1,400 grafts exactly 1 year from today. While I am not pleased with the results I did have a question. I remember shaving my head about 6 months ago and saw a bunch of red bumps where some of the implants were put in. I shaved my head last night, and noticed fewer red bumps and when I rub my hand against my scalp I can feel a bunch of tiny bumps on my fingers. Some of these red bumps that I still have do have some hair poking out though. I am not sure what this is and why I still have these 12 months post op.. possibly ingrown hairs? Has anybody else experienced this?

Hopefully! Next time I will use a reputable doc.. I went backwards had the HT first and then found this forum, oh well live and learn..

Definitely live and learn mate. Should always do your home work first as you well know now. As you stated its probably just ingrown hairs trying to het through. Have you spoken to your doctor or any doctor about it?

Nah, I'm not too wild about going in there. I doubt there is much he can do after 12 months.. I think im going to ride it out.
